Vista Firewall Exceptions for Remote Administration

A change to the scope for the following Firewall Exception Groups was made to permit the CCS server in the Med Zone to remotely manage Vista lab systems:

 

·         File and Printer Sharing

·         Performance Logs and Alerts

·         Remote Administration

·         Remote Desktop

·         Remote Event Log Management

·         Remote Schedule Tasks Management

·         Remote Service Management

·         Remote Volume Management

·         SoftGrid SFTLIST

·         Windows Firewall Remote Management

·         Windows Management Instrumentation

·         Windows Remote Management

 

These changes were made to the ccs-'08-'09-vista-settings GPO.
