Mac Updates 2009-05-28

We have updated the following programs:

• Adium to version 1.3.4
• Paintbrush to version 2.0.0
• Second Life to version 1.22.11.113941

Also, we’ve updated the usage agreement that displays when users log in. The new text includes information about printing charges.

Music School Site Power Save Settings

We have deployed the following power save settings to our Music School
site to reduce heat from machines that are not in use:

* Monitor goes to sleep after 20 minutes
* Hard Drive stop after 30 minutes
* Sleep State starts after an hour

HLM 6.07 Deployed

The application HLM 6.07 was deployed to all Sites Vista loadset systems. The software is available in Course Software\Education.

Stata 10.1 license updated on Windows machines

The license file for Stata 10.1 is being updated on Sites Windows
machines today. By May 5, users will see an expiration of May 2010
displayed when they open Stata.
